Can I use email on other phones?
Mobile devices must be configured to point to imap.ivytech.edu and to use SSL. Port 993 for IMAP server or 995 for Pop3 server may be specified.If you need to send mail you will need to use your own outgoing mail server. For example, if you have a gmail account this is what you’ll do:
Check server requires authentication.
Enter your gmail username and password.
SMTP Server – smtp.gmail.com
Security Type – SSL
Server Port – 465
If you don’t have a Gmail account you can use the outgoing server from your Internet Service Provider. They would be able to provide those settings to you.
