Services:

  • Library Instruction -- The library offers library instruction, upon request, to faculty, staff, and students.  Instruction may include a general introduction to the campus library as well as instruction in the use of specific resources.  Use the form below to reserve an instruction session for your class.
  • Purchase Recommendations -- The library welcomes suggestions for the purchase of new materials to meet the educational goals of the College.  While it may not be possible to obtain all items suggested for purchase, every attempt will be made to accommodate the need.  Use the form below to make a recommendation.  We will let you know whether or not we were able to purchase the item.
  • Library Assignments -- So that we may better assist your students, please provide us with advance notice of assignments that require use of the library's print and electronic resources. Send an email to BL-Library@lists.ivytech.edu and attach a copy of your assignment. We look forward to seeing your students in the library.
  • Course Reserves -- Instructors may place textbooks and other items on reserve in the library. Reserve items are for use only in the library -- they may not be checked out. If you would like to place items on reserve, stop by the library in room A200, or contact us by phone or email.
